4 computers & 4 scooters in a hot tin shed

4 scooters, 4 internet computers and a little tour booking office in a hot tin shed at the main road into Exmouth – that's how Tom founded What Scooters in June 2003.
One day in November 2004, Annett walked into the shed to use the internet to shop for parts of her broken down car. Well, Annett is still here – instead of fixing the car she married Tom and they now have two boys – Ethan, who was born in 2005 and Teo, born in 2008.
In 2005 they took on the car hire business for Avis followed by EUROPCAR in early 2006.
The name of the business was changed to Tours 'N' Travel Ningaloo in 2007.

A big milestone for the business was to buy the EUROPCAR franchise for the Pilbara region in June 2008 and it has been growing ever since. A EUROPCAR branch in Karratha was opened in October 2008 and Newman followed in November 2009. The business has been relocated to a larger, air-conditioned building in April 2009 now hosting nine internet workstations, notebook areas, a large tour booking desk, a book shop for new and preloved books and tea & coffee making facilities.
With 6 employees who have all been in the tourism industry for several years and sharing the same passion for Ningaloo Reef, Tours 'N' Travel is catering for travellers and locals 7 days a week from 8.30AM to 7PM.
