How to get to Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef
By plane
Skywest is the only company flying to Learmonth Airport at present.
PLEASE NOTE that Learmonth airport is located 35 km South of Exmouth and 100 km North of Coral Bay.
- A shuttle bus from Exmouth meets every flight and will take you to Exmouth and back to the airport for $20 each way.
- If you are planning to stay in Coral Bay, please organise your transport before you get here so you can be picked up by their shuttle service. Depending on the number of people, this can be quite expensive.
Book your car in advance! We only have a meet and greet at the airport and our EUROPCAR representative only meets flights with confirmed car reservations. The premium location surcharge for the delivery and collection at the airport is currently $33 each way.
By Car
EUROCAR Rental Cars has branches across Australia. Flexible one-way rentals are available from Perth, Broome, Darwin or any other branch. Or book your car directly with us to get our walk-up rate. You can also hire cars at our branches in Karratha and Newman. It is a good two days drive from Perth, but there are a few spots to stop and see on the way like the Pinnacles near Cervantes, Kalbarri National Park and Shark Bay with the Dolphins in Monkey Mia.
By Coach Bus
Greyhound Australia services Exmouth several days a week.
By Tour Bus
If you are travelling on a budget it is worth looking into various bus tours around Western Australia offered by Western Xposure , Easyrider Tours, Planet Perth Tours or Red Earth Safari Tours. Some of them visit Coral Bay, Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef more than once a week.
