Ningaloo Reef is the largest fringing reef in the world Most famous for the seasonal migration of Whale Sharks between March and July, Ningaloo Reef is also visited by an amazing variety of sea creatures like Manta Rays, Humpback Whales, Reef Sharks, Dolphins, Dugongs and hundreds of tropical fish. It is an important mating and breeding ground for green, loggerhead and hawksbill turtles.
Extending from Coral Bay to Onslow, the Coral Coast is home to the stunning Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia's answer to the Great Barrier Reef. Being the only significant reef on the westside of a continent, Ningaloo Reef is very rich in marine life and the lagoons are only between 2 and 4 metres deep on average - perfect for snorkellers with easy access directly off the beach. The Ningaloo Marine Park with its tropical waters is home to more than 250 different species of hard and soft corals and about 500 species of fish. Along the reef’s shore line boasts pristine, white sandy beaches and stunning turquoise waters. Turquoise Bay, Kona Lakeside and Oyster Stacks are three great snorkelling spots in the Cape Range National Park. You can hire snorkel gear from us and go by yourself or join a tour.
